Who we are
An experience created with intention
Amanita is a festival created by a group of friends who deeply believe in the value of coming together.
We work all year round to imagine, design and build each edition with love, passion and commitment. We care for every detail because we believe the time, energy and intention we put into making things are also part of the experience.
But Amanita comes to life when people arrive.
Every participant, artist, facilitator and team member brings something unique. When we all share the same space for several days, something happens that goes far beyond anything we could have imagined.

Why we make Amanita
We believe these spaces matter
We live in more and more of a hurry. We work, chase goals, answer messages and jump from one thing to the next feeling like something is always left pending.
We can be connected all the time and, at the same time, feel far from the people around us.
That's why we believe we need spaces where we can stop, meet in person and share time.
Places to dance, talk, create, learn, play and remember what it feels like to be fully present.
Since long before festivals existed, human beings have gathered around the fire to share music, stories, food and celebration.
We like to think of festivals as modern rituals: a pause within everyday time where different people can meet, exchange ideas, build bonds and feel part of something shared.
The world is changing, and it is also our responsibility to create the spaces and ways of living we want to inhabit.
These gatherings let us imagine new ways of being present, relating to each other and building community.
How we do it
The principles that guide our decisions
We curate with intention
Amanita's program brings together music, art, movement, workshops, learning, well-being and play.
We choose every artist and facilitator thinking about what they bring to the experience. We combine local and international projects, familiar sounds and others that don't circulate much in Argentina yet.
We want you to meet the music you already love at Amanita, but also to discover new artists, genres and ways of listening.
We also run open calls to discover and make room for new proposals we didn't know about.
We build with our own hands
We value manual work, artisanal processes and the energy devoted to creating something from a place of joy.
Stages, portals, signs, installations and small corners are imagined, painted and built by team members and artists who join the process.
We're not looking for the easiest way to do things. We want it to feel human.
We believe in art and beauty as ends in themselves. In taking the time to create something not only because it's useful, but because it can awaken an emotion and transform the way we inhabit a place.

That something continues when you return
We live in a society that makes constant demands on us. It's normal for life to feel routine at times.
We run from one obligation to the next and often lose touch with the present, with the people around us and with the things that truly do us good.
Amanita wants to be a pause inside that whirlwind.
A few days to live at a different pace, share time, try new things and remember what an adventure feels like.
We don't expect you to come back a different person.
It's enough for us that you come back with something of your own.
A new friendship. A practice you want to keep up. A question. A story. The urge to reconnect with your creativity.
Or simply the memory of a few days full of encounters, adventures and stories that made you feel more alive.
The impact that matters most to us is that something of what we live together continues after the festival.
